Initiative is on Ukraine's side: National Guard officer Lytvyn on situation in Kharkiv region
Vitaliy Lytvyn, an officer of the intelligence department of the Rubizh Brigade of the National Guard, noted that the situation near the village of Lyptsi has stabilized, and Ukrainian units are improving their tactical position
He told this on Espreso TV.
"In the Kharkiv sector, our unit was very effective in restraining the enemy's offensive near the village of Lyptsi. Now the situation in this area has stabilized, and our troops are improving their tactical position. So the initiative is now in our hands. The soldiers of the Rubizh brigade are now conducting assault operations and improving their position," said the officer of the intelligence department of the Rubizh brigade of the National Guard.
According to him, in the Lyman sector, Russian enemy is constantly conducting numerous artillery attacks, using a lot of equipment and personnel in assault operations. As of May 25, there have also been combat engagements, some of which are still ongoing.
"The invaders will hold their positions in the Kharkiv sector, despite their losses, until the reserves of their brigades that they use there run out. We can say that they do not have a limited supply of ammunition. They now realize that they have managed to effectively distract our forces, which we continue to keep there. The enemy is using tactics to weaken our forces in the Kharkiv region. In the future, they will keep some of their forces there, unless Russia opens new fronts somewhere in Sumy region," Vitaliy Lytvyn summed up.
