Russia makes three attempts to storm Ukrainian positions in Kharkiv sector, fighting continues in Hlyboke and Vovchansk

According to the updated information, yesterday Russia launched three missile attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas using 13 missiles, 57 air strikes using 97 combat aircraft, over 987 strikes by kamikaze drones, including 978 fpv drones. The occupation forces also carried out more than four thousand attacks with various types of weapons, including 147 using multiple launch rocket systems. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in deaths and injuries among the civilian population. 

Ukraine's defense forces continue to focus their main efforts in the Tavria, Donetsk and Slobozhanskyi operational areas to disrupt the occupiers' plans to advance in Donetsk, Luhansk and part of Kharkiv regions. Ukrainian soldiers are steadily holding their positions and, thanks to skillful actions, are destroying their enemy, sometimes counterattacking. 

Russian attacks on Ukraine

Since the beginning of the day, 37 combat clashes have taken place on the frontline. The Russian invading troops fired 494 times at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas, including 10 times from multiple rocket launchers. They launched one air strike using a guided aerial bomb. The Russian army also used 13 kamikaze drones for their groundless aggression. 

In the Kharkiv direction, the Russian aggressor tried to storm the Ukrainian troops' positions three times. The defense forces repelled the attack in the direction of Lyptsi. Fighting continues in the areas of Hlyboke and Vovchansk. The situation is under control, no losses of positions have been allowed. At the same time, Ukraine's units continue to take measures to strengthen the defense.

Over the past day, the total losses of the Russian Federation in this sector amounted to 137 people, 31 of whom were irretrievably wounded, and 23 units of weapons and military equipment. One Russian tank, two cannons, one MLRS, a UAV, two vehicles and five units of special equipment were destroyed. Two tanks, one armored personnel carrier, six cannons and two hostile vehicles were damaged.

Ten combat clashes took place in the Kupyansk direction since the beginning of the day. Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled one Russian attack in the direction of Druzheliubivka. Fighting continues in the areas of 5 settlements. Near Ivanivka, the Russian army has partial success. Defense forces are taking measures to stabilize the situation.

Yesterday, the occupation forces lost 353 people (117 of them irretrievably) and 81 pieces of armor in the Kupyansk sector. In particular, a tank, two armored combat vehicles, two cars and 68 UAVs were destroyed. A tank, two armored personnel carriers, three cannons, and two cars were damaged. A dugout and five ammunition depots were also blown up.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian troops continue to repel Russian attempts to advance in the Serebryanskyi forest. 

In the Siverskyi direction, Ukrainian troops are repelling a Russian attack in the vicinity of Spirne. No positions were lost, the situation is under control.

In the Kramatorsk direction, from the beginning of the day, Ukraine's units prevented a Russian attack in the direction of Klishchiivka. The Russian enemy had no success. 

The situation in the Pokrovsk direction is under control. The intensity of hostilities has decreased today, and Russia has not conducted any offensive actions. Over the last day, Russia lost a total of 263 servicemen in the area. Also yesterday, Ukrainian troops destroyed a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft, one vehicle and one armored personnel carrier. One tank and two Russian armored fighting vehicles were damaged.

In the Kurakhove direction, the Ukrainian military have already rebuffed three attacks. Russia is currently continuing offensive actions in the area of Krasnohorivka. The situation is under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. 

In the Orikhiv direction, an attack by Russian invaders near Novodanylivka was stopped.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, at the footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River, a Russian attack near Krynky was repelled. At the same time, Ukrainian soldiers are taking measures to strengthen their defense lines.

In other areas, the situation has not changed significantly.

Ukraine's defense forces are taking all necessary measures to deter Russia's offensive, deplete its combat potential and stabilize the situation.

• Over the past day, the Russian occupation army lost another 1,240 servicemen in the war in Ukraine. In addition, the Defense Forces eliminated another Russian aircraft.
