How many guided aerial bombs Russian forces dropped in January?
This month, the Russian tactical aviation used about 600 guided bombs, types FAB-250, FAB-500 with unified gliding and correction module, as well as a number of other bombs
Military expert Oleksandr Kovalenko reported this.
The most intensive bombardments are in the Luhansk, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions. In the Kherson region, minimal use of guided bombs is recorded, for obvious reasons. But, in a sense, the ammunition previously used in the Kherson region has migrated and is concentrated in other regions
Overall, for 2023, the record month for guided bomb use was November, with more than 1,200 bombs of various types with a record of 120 bombs per day on November 25.
About 1,165 bombs were dropped in October. In December, up to 1,000 guided bombs were used.
It is obvious that in January about 1,000 bombs will also be used, which may indicate that the production of unified gliding and correction module (UMPK - ed.), as well as the bombs of various modifications, is brought to a stable, serial level.
All this once again indicates that the fight against Russian aviation will have to be made a priority in 2024, if Ukraine gets the appropriate weapons and equipment.
