Ukrainian intel uncovers cannibalism among Russian troops
A call intercepted by Ukrainian intelligence revealed that a Russian soldier, originally thought to be missing, was actually eaten by one of his fellow troops
The Main Intelligence Directorate reported the information.
“No one ran the f*** away, Brelok killed him, then f***ing ate him for two weeks,” says the commander of one of the units of the 68th Motorized Rifle Division’s separate reconnaissance battalion of the Russian Armed Forces.
Later, Brelok himself was found dead.
“They say he was a ‘two-hundred’ [killed in action], f***. Well, he ate his comrade, so that’s something to think about,” the Russian soldier adds.
According to Ukrainian inteligence, Brelok and Foma served in the 52nd Separate Reconnaissance Battalion of the 68th Motorized Rifle Division of the Russian Armed Forces. The unit operates in the Kupiansk direction, near the villages of Zapadne and Lyman Pershyi.
“Cannibalism is yet another proof of the deep moral and psychological decay of the invading Russian forces, who have lost all basic respect for human life — even their own,” Ukrainian intelligence noted.
- Officers from the Ukrainian Security Service and the National Police detained an FSB agent who had been setting fires and was preparing to carry out a murder in Kyiv on enemy orders.
