Germany is considering sending a fourth Patriot air defense system to Ukraine in response to Volodymyr Zelenskyy's calls for equipment to defend against Russia

According to sources familiar with the discussion, this Patriot system will complement the three that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz's government has already promised to provide to Ukraine.
However, the sources noted that Germany has not yet made a final decision.
According to the publication, Berlin promised to provide an additional air defence system after Russia resumed its offensive.
The United States and Romania are also considering providing Ukraine with one Patriot battery each. Italy intends to send one of its SAMP-T systems after the G7 summit this month.
- On June 2, Romanian Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu said that officials are discussing the possibility of providing Ukraine with a Patriot air defence system.
