Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv sector, the Russian forces are attacking from Murom towards the village of Starytsia. Fighting continues in the area of Vovchansk. The total number of combat engagements in the sector is now five. The invading troops continue to relentlessly bombard the northern Kharkiv region. The six air strikes since the beginning of the day have been complemented by three more, which were carried out from Russian airspace. From the direction of Belgorod and Sereda (Russia), the enemy was firing at the areas of Ukrainian settlements Hlyboke, Synelnykove, and Zelene.

In the Kupyansk sector, 11 combat engagements took place today. Russia lost a total of 22 soldiers, and a tank was damaged. Three combat engagements are currently underway.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Russia maintains a high intensity of attacks. Five combat engagements are currently taking place. Since the beginning of the day, there have been 19 of them. The Russian army is concentrating attacks in the areas of Novoselivka Persha, Novooleksandrivka, and Sokil. It is actively supporting the offensive by dropping guided aerial bombs.

Three times since the beginning of the day, Russian forces have attempted to storm the area of Krasnohorivka in the Kurakhove sector. One attempt was repelled, but combat actions continued in two other locations.

In the Lyman sector, Russians made two more unsuccessful assaults. This time on the territory of Serebrianske forestry. They also dropped six guided bombs - three in the areas of Lyman and Zarichne.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russia attacked in the Novyi neighborhood near Chasiv Yar and the village of Ivanivske. The invaders were fiercely repulsed, as they had been before near Klishchiivka.

In the Vremivka sector, Russia used two guided aerial bombs in the area of Velyka Novosilka. Ukrainian troops repelled three attempts by the invaders to advance near Staromaiorske.

In the Orikhiv sector, the Russians attacked twice near Mali Shcherbaky and once near Mala Tokmachka. They received a worthy rebuff.

In the Kherson sector, Russia made three attempts to storm Ukrainian positions near Krynky. One of the battles on the left bank of the Dnipro River is ongoing. The situation is under control.

In other areas, the situation has not changed significantly.

  • On the night of May 29, the Russian army launched attack drones from the south into Ukraine. The defenders of the sky managed to destroy almost all enemy air targets in three regions.
