General Staff denies Russian reports on "attacks on energy facilities" in Russia, occupied Ukraine
Russian information resources are spreading fake reports about Ukraine striking energy facilities in Russia and Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine
In particular, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has prepared another false statement about alleged attacks on several Russian oil, gas, and electricity enterprises.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"We emphasize that the Ukrainian Defense Forces strictly adhere to the agreements reached with our partners and have not attacked energy facilities either in the territory of the Russian Federation or within temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine. Fire strikes are carried out exclusively on military targets of the Russian occupation army," the General Staff said.
At the same time, the General Staff pointed out that numerous violations of these agreements have been recorded by the Russian army.
Thus, in the last decade of March, Russian forces repeatedly attacked Ukrainian energy facilities in Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kherson regions.
"The diplomatic body of the aggressor country traditionally spreads false and unfounded accusations to shift the blame for the disruption of peace settlement onto Ukraine and to continue its aggressive war against our state," added the General Staff.
- Earlier, Deputy Head of the President's Office of Ukraine Ihor Brusylo reported that Russia had violated agreements on the energy truce, and Ukraine had provided all available information on this matter to the United States.
