Ukrainian Armed Forces hit Russia's latest P-416GM communication station first time in history
For the first time in history, Ukrainian military destroyed a Russian digital radio relay station R-416GM, adopted by Russian army in 2018
Ukraine's Special Operations Forces reported the information.
Operators of Ukraine's 3rd Regiment of the Special Forces targeted a Russian communication station while working in one of the combat areas.
The Special Operations Forces note that the Russian army adopted the R-416GM complex in 2018. The mobile station is designed to improve the efficiency of radio relay units in the field.
Ukrainian defenders used one of the latest weapons developments in the attack.
"Our operators struck the Russian target with one of the latest developments that has been put into service by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. As a result of the accurate strike, the R-416GM station was damaged. As a result, communication between the command post and the terrorists' army units was disrupted," the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported.
