Expert reveals likely weapon behind strike on Russian missile arsenal in Bryansk region
Serhii Zgurets, head of the Defense Express consulting firm, suggests that Ukraine might be testing new weaponry models
He shared this on Espreso TV.
“This is the 67th arsenal of the Russian Defense Ministry, located in the Bryansk region, 114 km from Ukraine's border. It’s one of the closest arsenals. This site was already targeted back in early October when dozens of drones hit it. That attack was part of an ongoing campaign to destroy Russian stockpiles. Reports at the time indicated the arsenal held North Korean ammunition delivered to the facility," Zgurets explained.
According to Zgurets, the missile arsenal in the Bryansk region is compact but dense, covering just 3.5 square kilometers. New details suggest that this time, the attack wasn’t carried out with drones but with missiles. This raises the possibility that Neptune missiles or other advanced systems, more effective than drones, were used.
"Perhaps Ukraine is testing new weapon prototypes,” Zgurets speculated. “Recently, the Defense Minister and the President mentioned increased production of long-range missiles by Ukraine’s defense industry."
