Ukraine's partners' entry into war is matter of time - diplomat Bezsmertnyi
Ukrainian diplomat Roman Bezsmertnyi says that the democracy of the civilized world has its own mechanisms for making decisions and putting them into effect
He expressed this opinion in an interview with Antin Borkovskyi, host of the Studio West program.
"I am convinced that time is the only barrier in this regard today. I have already said that the entry of the countries we are talking about, our partners, into this war is a matter of time, which is due to the fact that the democracy of the civilised world has its own mechanisms for decision-making and entry into action, including these aircraft. I am not talking about the service system. Please note that behind the current conversation about aircraft, there is a conversation about Abrams tanks and so on. How is it going now? We gave the Ukrainians armoured vehicles, but we did not give them service, we did not give them a service system, so there is a technological discussion on both sides," the diplomat said.
In his opinion, nothing and no way, even in a tiny dose, leads to the fact that the issue of negotiations may arise. Moreover, in the current situation, Russia's running military-industrial economy seems to show them that this is their salvation, but in fact it is Russia's demise.
"And the world today is looking at this closely and looking at the Moscow Fuhrer as a clown. He thought that on the basis of his economic rise and the ties he had with the world, he would not be able to oppose the whole world and skip this period, but now it is the opposite. The world is now grouping more and more around Ukraine. The potential for involving forces in this war is growing, technology is growing, so where is the backtracking? I'm even trying to take the side of those who say it's possible," Roman Bezsmertnyi concluded.
