North Korean troops set up observation posts to detect Ukrainian drones in Kursk region
North Korean troops fighting on the side of Russia in the Kursk region are setting up additional observation posts due to fear of attacks by Ukrainian drones
This is reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
As noted, on December 16, Russia continued to use North Korean troops in combat operations on the territory of Kursk region.
Thus, after significant losses, North Korean units began setting up additional observation posts to detect drones of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
Also, according to the intelligence, before the assault, the DPRK troops accumulate a group of up to 20-30 soldiers on the front lines, and move to the destined area in small groups of up to 6 servicemen.
"The constant accumulation of assault groups by the personnel of the DPRK army in the Kursk region indicates that Moscow does not want to lose the pace of offensive actions. For identification at the front, the North Korean military uses red tape," Ukrainian intelligence said.
- Meanwhile, soldiers of the 8th Regiment of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine neutralized at least 50 North Korean militants in the Kursk region of Russia in three days.
