Divided Europe plays into Putin’s hands

I am strongly opposed to underestimating Russia, and even more so to underestimating the Armed Forces of Ukraine. But this narrative that “Europe cannot stand up to Russia without the U.S.” really amuses me

Because it clashes with a simple fact: despite using all its forces and resources, literally everything it has, employing all conventional weapons and the most brutal methods of warfare, burning through almost all Soviet-era reserves, involving North Korea in the war, and sacrificing hundreds of thousands of soldiers, Russia has not managed to capture the Donetsk region in three years.

I fully understand Europe’s fear of war. I understand the vulnerability of the Baltic countries.

But the only thing that can prevent Europe from defeating Russia, if Putin makes a move, is a lack of unity.

And yes, Ukraine can put an end to the existence of his regime.

As long as they help and put pressure on the regime.

That’s how “all-powerful” and “invincible” he really is.
