Ukraine's drones hit Russian Tu-22M strategic bomber at Olenya polar base, helicopters in Moscow region

"As a result of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine's operation near Olenegorsk, a long-range supersonic bomber-missile carrier TU-22M3 was hit at the Olenya military airfield, where the Russian strategic aviation is based," the sources said.
The military intelligence also added that the Olenya airfield is located 1,800 kilometres from the border with Ukraine.
Moreover, on July 27, at around 5 am, Russia reported about a drone attack on the Dyagilevo airfield in Ryazan. The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the downing of seven drones, accusing Ukraine of the attack.
"Seven Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by air defense systems over the territory of the Ryazan region," the ministry added.
Military intelligence of Ukraine targets 3 helicopters in Russia
On Saturday, July 27, the Main Intelligence Directorate confirmed that three helicopters were damaged in Russia on July 21 and 24.
On the night of July 21, Russian Mi-28 and Ka-226 helicopters were hit on the territory of the Mil and Kamov National Helicopter Production Centre in Moscow region as a result of sabotage activities by the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.
In addition, on July 24, a sabotage attack destroyed a multi-purpose Mi-8 helicopter at the Russian Ministry of Defense's Kryazh airfield in Samara.
The Defense Intelligence of Ukraine emphasized that the destroyed and damaged Russian helicopters were used by the aggressor in the war against Ukraine.
“Local residents of Samara, Tomilino and the neighboring Moscow region were very confused by the explosions, but the Russian authorities are trying to hide the causes and consequences of the noise and fire,” the intelligence service added.
