What weapons has Ukraine's army used to target two facilities in Russia? Expert suggests
Ukraine's Defense Forces have hit Russian facilities responsible for launching strikes on the Ukrainian territory
Defense Express development director Valerii Riabykh stated this on Espreso TV.
"There is no definitive answer regarding the means Ukraine used to carry out the strikes, as such means are increasing in number. In addition to long-range drones like the Liutyi, drone missiles announced by Ukraine's president, such as Palianytsia, might have been used. The possibility of employing new drones against similar targets cannot be ruled out," he stated.
Last night, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck several targets on enemy territory. Two main directions are known: the Bryansk region, targeting the Druzhba oil pipeline facility used for exporting oil from Russia, and the Beriev aviation plant in the Rostov region.
"Among the assets stored there were Tu-95 bombers, which had been retrofitted to carry Kh-101 missiles instead of Kh-555. The Beriev plant also supports the technical maintenance of A-50 early warning aircraft of the Russian Federation, which play a crucial role in organizing terrorist strikes on Ukraine," Riabykh reported.
- On the night of December 11, Ukrainian drones attacked an oil depot in Bryansk. Also, in Taganrog, Rostov region of the Russian Federation, people complained about a missile attack that allegedly damaged infrastructure.
