This is a new weapon that the Russians are trying to make similar to the GLSDB bomb, which can be launched from HIMARS. The Russians are currently working on the same concept. Based on the FAB-250 bomb, they made the UMPB D-30SN, which is likely to be launched from aircraft," explained Riabykh.
The UMPB D-30SN bomb poses a significant threat due to its design, featuring a jet engine with wings that enable it to be launched from a considerable distance.
"Russian propagandists say that this distance can be up to 90 kilometers. According to the enemy's plan, this bomb should be highly accurate. And here the question arises: is it really high-precision? The Russians say that the bomb is equipped with a device that allows it to be guided by GPS coordinates. They say this gives it the ability to hit military targets. However, we see that this was most likely an experimental use. This is because Russian terrorists continue the practice of military testing of their new weapons in peaceful cities of Ukraine," added Riabykh.
