DeepState on Chasiv Yar: "Relentless Russian assaults — if they bring in reserves, situation will get difficult"
Russian forces continue their relentless advance on Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region, wasting resources with continuous attacks
The OSINT platform DeepState reports on this situation.
"It’s unclear how much more they're willing to invest in pushing forward. If the Russians decide to bring in reserves, the situation will become extremely difficult. Right now, the key task for our fighters in the area is to repel these assaults using drones — both drop and FPV drones," the report states.
According to sources, the enemy is attempting to gather forces and attack in the Chasiv Yar Forestry area, near the Ridkodubya natural monument, north of the city. In particular, they are trying to bypass the Zhovtnevy microdistrict.
"They’re trying to flank the city since frontal assaults across the canal are futile — those attacks end up turning their assault teams into corpses. The battle rages on," DeepState reports.
- On October 11, it was reported that Russian occupying forces had made some advances near Toretsk, Donetsk region, and were strengthening their defenses near Chasiv Yar.
