Ukrainian Border Guard and Defense Forces halt Russian convoy near border

"While performing combat missions in one of the active combat zones, border guards, together with other Defense Forces, stopped a column of enemy equipment moving toward the state border of Ukraine," the statement reads.

The Russian plans were thwarted, with Ukrainian forces destroying two infantry fighting vehicles and damaging at least one more.
