Every U.S. president has feared Russia—and Trump is no exception
Former Chief Military Prosecutor of Ukraine Viktor Chumak says that all Americans have feared Russia since it acquired nuclear weapons
He made this statement during a broadcast on Espreso TV.
"Trump fears Putin. Every U.S. administration and president since 1945 has feared Russia because of its nuclear weapons. Their greatest fear is nuclear war with Russia, and this thought has never left their minds. Elon Musk has been warning about this for three years, Vance talks about it, and Trump constantly repeats that nuclear war or World War III could happen. This fear is the main factor that holds everything back," Chumak remarked.
The former Chief Military Prosecutor of Ukraine also noted that Biden had Jake Sullivan, who frequently spoke about the nuclear threat but in private discussions. Meanwhile, Trump has Musk, who not only warns about it but also amplifies public anxiety. Trump also has J.D. Vance, who completely rejects the idea of any U.S. involvement in World War III or a nuclear catastrophe.
"It is clear that Ukraine is a crucial geostrategic hub, but its importance is much greater for Europe, which protects it from Russia. However, Ukraine does not shield America from Russia because between the U.S. and Russia, there are nuclear missiles. These missiles cross oceans at the same speed, regardless of their launch location, and this velocity is not affected by Ukraine’s existence," Chumak emphasized.
- Polish President Andrzej Duda has called on the United States to deploy nuclear weapons in Poland as a deterrent against potential Russian aggression.
