Canada has imposed economic sanctions on a number of Ukrainian ex-politicians and officials from the time of fugitive President Viktor Yanukovych. Therefore, the government has imposed economic sanctions against former Ukrainian politicians and officials who worked during Yanukovych's presidency: Mykola Azarov, Oleksiy Azarov, Raisa Bohatyreva, Andriy Kliuyev, Serhiy Kurchenko, Viktor Pshonka, Artem Pshonka, Dmytro Tabachnyk, Oleksandr Yakymenko and Vitaliy Zakharchenko.
- On February 4, 2023, the head of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia, published a list of 5 traitors who were deprived of Ukrainian citizenship. Among them are Andriy Kliuyev, Dmytro Tabachnyk, Oleksandr Klymenko, Vitaliy Zakharchenko and Oleksandr Yakymenko.
