Ukraine's intelligence chief comments on August 21 drone attack on Moscow region
The Ukrainian Defense Intelligence Directorate conducted drone strikes on a radio intelligence center near the Russian capital

Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, shared the information the War Zone.
“Today (August 21 - ed.) we conducted a couple of drone operations,” he said.
According to Budanov, the attacks targeted Ostafyevo airport in Moscow and Millerovo military air base in the Rostov region. The Ukrainian Defense Intelligence Directorate is investigating how effective the attacks were.
He added that the first airfield served as a deceptive target, with the strike intended to act as a distraction.
Russian official sources said that all drones heading to Moscow and other Russian regions were shot down last night.
- In the early hours of August 21, Moscow faced what is reported as one of the most significant drone attacks on the region. Russia claims to have intercepted 10 drones in the assault.
