Belarus to complete production of Oreshnik missile launchers by year-end — Lukashenko

"We have agreed with Vladimir Putin to jointly defend our common homeland. In our arsenal, there is a regional military group of Belarus and Russia and a unified regional air defense system. We have been provided with tactical nuclear weapons, and soon the Belarusian army will be equipped with the latest hypersonic missile systems Oreshnik," said Lukashenko.
He added that Belarus plans to complete the production of launchers for the Oreshnik missiles by the end of the year, after which they will jointly determine the deployment location with the Russian side.
- On March 13, the Belarusian leader claimed his country had completed production of several launchers but awaited missile deliveries from Russia for deployment.
