Azov fighters counterattack Russian positions in Toretsk sector with tanks - Luhansk operational and tactical group

‘It is not easy in Nelypivka village in the Toretsk sector. However, Ukrainian soldiers are very well well-trained and motivated, which allows them to successfully counterattack. For example, Azov fighters recently counterattacked with tanks and destroyed an enemy position,’ said the command spokesperson.

According to her, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have not been able to conduct active assault operations and liberate a large amount of Ukrainian land in this section of the frontline. However, Ukrainian soldiers have been preventing the enemy from breaking through for a long time.

‘Complex urban fighting is taking place in the Toretsk sector. The enemy is aggressively trying to storm the area using a large number of personnel. But the Russians are not advancing and are not capturing Ukrainian positions. Moreover, as we can see, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to counterattack. Russian forces are losing up to a hundred soldiers every day, and almost an entire mechanized battalion of personnel — more than 500 people - in a week,’ Bobovnikova said.
