Ukraine reports 168 combat clashes, Russia launches 22 assaults in Kursk region

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff stated this in its report as of 08:00 a.m.

Over the past day, 168 combat clashes were recorded. According to the updated information, yesterday Russia launched one missile strike using two missiles on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, along with 41 airstrikes, in particular dropped 55 guided bombs. In addition, theн used nearly 2,240 ‘kamikaze’ drones and fired over 4,800 times, including 152 times from multiple launch rocket systems.

The Russian army conducted airstrikes near Ukraine's Krasnopillya, Veterynarne, Vovchanski Khutory, Dvorichna, Petropavlivka, Lozova, Kostiantynivka, Huliaipole, and Novoandriivka.

The General Staff added that yesterday the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted nine strikes on three Russian manpower concentrations and one command post. 

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv sector, Russian troops, supported by aviation, carried out seven attacks near Vovchansk, Vysoka Yaruha, and Hlyboke.

In the Kupyansk sector, Russian forces launched 15 attacks. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled assaults near Kucherivka, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Pershotravneve, Zelenyi Hai, and Lozova.

In the Lyman sector, Russians attacked 14 times near Hrekivka, Druzheliubivka, Makiivka, Terny, and Zarichne.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian forces launched four attacks near Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 41 Russian attacks near Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Zhovte, Shevchenko, Pushkine, and Novopustynka. The fiercest attacks occurred near Lysivka and Pushkine.

In the Kurakhove sector, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 41 Russian attacks. The Russian army focused its main offensive efforts near Sontsivka, Berestky, Zoria, Novodmytrivka, Kurakhove, Dalnie, Dachne, Romanivka, Yelyzavetivka, and Uspenivka.

In the Vremivka sector, Russian troops attacked 19 times near Zelene Pole, Novodarivka, Kostiantynopilske, and Sukhi Yaly.

In the Huliaipole and Orikhiv sectors, Russian troops did not conduct any offensive actions, but actively used aviation.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions five times. They were fiercely repulsed and suffered losses.

On the border with Belarus, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.

On the border with the Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the Russian army is actively using artillery and aviation from its territory in the vicinity of Ukrainian settlements.

The operation in the Kursk region is ongoing. The Russian army launched 22 attacks on Ukrainian positions, conducted 335 artillery strikes, 17 airstrikes, and dropped 25 guided bombs.
