How Ukrainians will understand that F-16s are in Ukraine: aviation expert explains
Aviation expert Anatolii Khrapchynskyi explains that when F-16 fighters arrive in Ukraine, it will be evident because Russian aircraft will start to fall near Ukraine's borders
He spoke about this on Espreso TV.
"In fact, we will see a significant increase in airspace. For example, we can compare the repelling of the air attack carried out by Iran against Israel, when a large number of aircraft were involved. At that time, most of the missiles flying in that direction were effectively and very quickly shot down. Again, it should be noted here that it will be possible to affect some of the ground positions of the Russians who are trying to advance now," explained the deputy director general of the company.
Khrapchynskyi noted that the presence of F-16s will make it more difficult for the Russian troops to use Su-34s to bomb and strike Kh-59s and Kh-69s, as these fighters will quickly neutralize such threats.
"I think it will be immediately clear from the external picture what is happening on the front line. For example, if there is information about the downing of Russian planes in the border areas of Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv regions or if Russian planes will be more active over the front line," the aviation expert summarized.
