Russia's war in Ukraine kills at least 545 children, injures 1,298 more
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, at least 545 children have been killed and 1,298 injured of varying severity as a result of Russian aggression

The Prosecutor General's Office reports.
"As of the morning of April 20, 2024, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 545 children were killed and more than 1298 were injured of varying severity," the statement says.
Children in the following areas suffered the most:
- Donetsk - 529
- Kharkiv - 346
- Kherson - 150
- Dnipropetrovsk - 135
- Kyiv - 130
- Zaporizhzhia - 108
- Mykolaiv - 104.
On April 19, an 8-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl died as a result of an attack on the town of Synelnykove in Dnipropetrovsk region. A 6-year-old boy was seriously injured.
On the same day, a 14-year-old boy was wounded in the shelling of Solonchaky village, Mykolaiv district, Mykolaiv region.
