Trump's ex-advisor: Kremlin drinks vodka straight from bottle after Trump-Putin talk
John Bolton, former National Security Advisor to Trump, reacted to the Trump-Putin conversation, stating that Putin "couldn't be happier" with it
Bolton said this on CNN.
The former National Security Advisor to Trump remarked that Putin must be thrilled with the outcome of the conversation.
“Putin couldn't be happier. I tell you, they're drinking vodka straight out of the bottle in the Kremlin tonight. It was a great day for Moscow,” the former Trump advisor said.
In his opinion, the head of the White House “effectively surrendered” to Putin.
Bolton also focused on the appointment of Tulsi Gabbard as the head of the U.S. National Intelligence Agency.
John Bolton expressed his belief that the appointment of Tulsi Gabbard would significantly harm national security. He suggested that many U.S. allies would now think twice before sharing intelligence with the U.S. Bolton described the appointment as one of the worst that could have happened.
- US President Donald Trump had his first phone call with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin after being elected to a second term. Trump also announced Putin's visits to the United States and his own to Russia.
