"Anything that contradicts Constitution cannot be negotiated" – Zelenskyy on territorial concessions

He made this statement during a joint press conference with South African President Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa.

“Regarding the issue of territorial concessions by Ukraine: the U.S. proposed its vision for negotiation terms. In London, we had a meeting with European partners and U.S. representatives. There, the U.S. side presented us with a proposed strategy. 

Our team held a constructive dialogue, and the relevant points were documented. I believe the format we proposed, and the document based on it, is already on President Donald Trump’s desk,” Zelenskyy said.

He concluded by stressing that any territorial concessions by Ukraine contradict the Constitution.
