Air Defense Forces shoot down 107 of 208 Russian drones on night of February 28

According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the attack was launched from several directions, including Oryol, Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Shatalovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia.  

The assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Ukrainian Defense Forces.  

"As of 9:00 AM, 107 Shahed strike drones and other UAVs were confirmed destroyed over Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions," the Air Force reported.  

Additionally, 97 Russian drone decoys were no longer detected on radar without causing any harm.

• Commander of the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces, Vadym Sukharevskyi, revealed that Ukrainian troops have started using FPV drones to shoot down Russian Shahed drones.
