94 clashes occur at front, Pokrovsk direction remains hottest - Ukraine's General Staff

The border areas of the Sumy and Chernihiv regions are under systematic fire from Russian artillery and MLRS. A number of border settlements, such as Buchky, Leonivka, Yelino, Pozhnia, Seredyna Buda, Popivka, Iskryskivka, Velyka Pysarivka, and Myropilske, have suffered from terrorist attacks.

In addition, the invading forces fired unguided aerial missiles at the area of Oleksandrivka in the Chernihiv region. Russia is conducting subversive and reconnaissance activities.

At the same time, the Kharkiv region is under constant fire from Russian aircraft. Today, the Russians launched six attacks, including 12 UAVs. They targeted the areas of Starytsia, Lyptsi, Mali Prokhody, and Vovchansk.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv sector, Russian forces attempted eight times to storm the Ukrainian defensive lines near Hlyboke, Vovchansk, and Starytsia. A firefight is currently underway near Starytsia. The situation remains under Ukraine's control.

In the Kupyansk sector, the Russian army actively attacked the Ukrainian positions four times near Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchane, Berestove, and Novoselivka, and used multiple rocket launchers in Kupyansk. Two firefights are still ongoing. Ukrainian soldiers are holding the line.

In the Lyman sector, the invading army, supported by air power, launched ten attacks on Ukrainian positions near Makiivka, Nevske, Torske, and Terny. Four engagements ended without success for the enemy, six more are ongoing.

The Russian army is also active in the Siversk sector. Near the settlements of Razdolivka and Vyimka, Ukrainian defenders repelled three enemy attacks. The situation is under control.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the Russians made nine attacks on the Ukrainian troops' positions near Chasiv Yar, Andriivka, and Ivanivske. Two attacks are still ongoing. Russia carried out air strikes with attack aircraft on Chasiv Yar.

The number of enemy attacks in the Toretsk sector increased to 12. Russia is concentrating its efforts in the vicinity of Pivnichne, Zalizne, and New York. Ukrainian troops repelled nine attacks, three more combat engagements are ongoing.

The Pokrovsk sector witnessed the largest number of combat engagements. Since the beginning of the day, the Russians have already made 29 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions in the areas of Oleksandropol, Vozdvyzhenka, Kalynove, Sokil, Progress, Lozuvatske, Novooleksandrivka, Karlivka, and Yasnobrodivka. The Defense Forces are holding back the onslaught and have repelled 20 enemy attacks so far, with nine battles still ongoing. The Russian losses are being clarified.

In the Kurakhove sector, fighting also continues near Krasnohorivka, Paraskoviivka, and Kostiantynivka. According to the updated information, 13 Russian attacks were repelled in the area today.

In the Vremivka sector, Ukrainian troops repelled one attack near Vodiane. Two more attacks are underway near Urozhaine.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian troops repelled three Russian assaults. Here, the invading forces failed in the area of Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne.

• Over the past day, Ukrainian troops eliminated at least 1,030 Russian soldiers. Russia also lost 48 artillery systems and 9 tanks.
