91 clashes at front: Russian troops launch 19 attacks in Ukraine's Kurakhove sector

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff stated this in its report as of 4:00 p.m.

On the border with the Chernihiv region, the Russian army actively used artillery from the territory of the Russian Federation on Vylchyky and Senkivka.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled one attack near Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk sector, Russian forces attempted to advance five times towards Ukrainian positions near Lozova, Masiutivka, and Zelenyi Hai. Three clashes are still ongoing.

In the Lyman sector, Russian troops attacked 15 times, targeting areas near Tverdokhlibove, Kopanky, Bohuslavka, Hrekivka, Cherneshchyna, Makiivka, Zarichne, Terny, and Yampilivka. Eight battles are currently ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled four attacks near Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, and Bila Hora. Two attacks are still underway.

In the Toretsk sector, Russians attempted five advances near Toretsk, Dyliivka, and Nelipivka. One clash is ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the Russian army attacked 13 times. Russian offensive was repelled near Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Pushkine, Zoria, and Novotroitske. Six clashes are still ongoing.

In the Kurakhove sector, 19 clashes occurred throughout the day near Sontsivka, Zoria, Kurakhove, Yelizavetivka, Romanivka, Hannivka, Uspenivka, Rozlyv, and Neskuchne. Eight Russian attacks are ongoing.

In the Vremivka sector, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions 10 times near Veselyi Hai, Kostiantynopilske, Sukhi Yaly, Novodarivka, Novosilka, and Temyrivka. Five clashes are still in progress.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled one Russian attack.

In the Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders are still repelling 10 Russian attacks, with 16 clashes reported today.

No significant changes occurred in other sectors, according to the General Staff.

• On December 6, 177 combat engagements took place at the front. Russian troops launched 48 attacks in the Pokrovsk sector and 35 in the Kurakhove sector.
