Ukraine reports 85 combat clashes along front line on April 10

Since the start of the day on April 10, 85 combat clashes have been recorded along the front line. The enemy attacked the Ukranian positions 27 times in the Pokrovsk direction and 16 times in the Toretsk direction. 

This was reported by the General Staff in their briefing.

Russian artillery shelling targeted the border areas of Ukrainian settlements, including: Prokhody, Esman, Bobylivka, Kucheryvka, Yastrubshchyna, Ulanove, Marivne in Sumy region; Tymonovichi in Chernihiv region. Airstrikes were carried out on Sumy region settlements, including Petrushivka, Osoivka, Uhroidy, Mala Rybytsya, Prokhody, and Velykyi Prykil.

Situation along the frontline

In the Kharkiv direction, the Defense Forces repelled two Russian assaults near Vovchansk.

In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian troops attempted four times to advance towards our positions near Pishchane and in the area of Zahryzove. Three combat clashes are still ongoing.

The Russian aggressor increased the number of attacks to eight in the Lyman direction, attacking near the settlements of Nove, Yampilivka, and in the direction of Dronivka, Hrekivka, Olhivka, Kotlyarivka, Novomykhailivka. Four battles are still ongoing.

In the Siverskyi direction, the Russian army launched four attacks today, three of which have been repelled by Ukrainian forces. The occupying forces are attempting to advance towards Hryhorivka and in the areas of Bilohorivka and Verkhnokam'yanske.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled three Russian enemy assaults, with the enemy carrying out offensive actions near Billa Hora and Kurdyumivka.

In the Toretsk direction, the Russian forces attempted to advance 16 times in the areas of Druzhba and Toretsk. Currently, three combat clashes are ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the Russian enemy initiated 27 clashes of varying intensity towards Oleksandropil, Serhiivka, Kotlyarivka, and near the settlements of Yelyzavetivka, Lysyivka, Zvirive, Udachne, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka, and Bohdanivka. Ukrainian defenders have repelled 22 enemy attacks.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled two enemy assaults near the settlement of Kostyantynopil and in the direction of Bahatyria, with one attack still ongoing.

In the Hulyaipole direction, in the area of Pryvilne, three combat clashes have ended. At the same time, airstrikes using unguided rockets targeted the settlements of Novodaryvka and Hulyaipole.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the Russian army made two unsuccessful attempts to advance towards our defenders' positions.

In the Kursk region, Ukrainian forces repelled six Russian attacks. Furthermore, the enemy launched 23 airstrikes, dropping 34 guided bombs, and carried out 207 artillery shellings, including eight from multiple rocket launch systems.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy did not conduct active operations.

No significant changes occurred in the situation along the remaining directions.

• During the past day, the Defense Forces of Ukraine eliminated 1,420 Russian troops on the front line. The invading army also lost equipment, including 105 drones.
