75 combat engagements take place along frontline, Kurakhove sector is hottest spot — General Staff

This is stated in the General Staff's report.

Starykove, Obody, Pavlivka, Seredyna Buda, Slavgorod, Zarichne, Popivka, Iskryskivka, Miropilske, Oleksandrivka, Novenke, Bachivsk, Bobylivka, Boyar-Lezhachi in Sumy region; Leonivka in Chernihiv region were shelled by enemy artillery. The Russian invaders launched air strikes in the areas of Velyka Pysarivka, Bilovody, Popivka in Sumy region, dropping 5 guided aerial bombs and using 10 unguided aerial missiles.

Frontline situation

In the Kupyansk sector, the Russian enemy carried out five assault actions near Novoozynove and Lozova. Three of the engagements ended, and two are ongoing.  

In the Lyman sector, the invading Russian army attacked twice near Zahryzove. Ukrainian defenders repelled one attack, another is ongoing.  

In the Siversky sector, the Russian army did not conduct any active operations.  

Two assaults on the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the Kramatorsk sector near Orikhovo-Vasylivka are still ongoing, and the enemy has also launched air strikes on Chasiv Yar and Stupochki.  

The areas around Toretsk, Kostyantynivka, Druzhba, Petrivka and Sukha Balka in the Toretsk sector are suffering from enemy air strikes, the Russian forces dropped a total of 12 guided aerial bombs.  

Since the beginning of the day, with the support of aviation, Russian forces have made 13 attempts to push our defenders from their positions in the areas of Promin, Lysivka, Novohrodivka, Krutyi Yar, Selydove and Hrodivka in the Pokrovsk sector. Ukrainian defense forces are holding back the enemy's offensive and repelled seven attacks, six firefights are still ongoing. The enemy's losses are being clarified.  

In the Kurakhove sector, Russian enemy attacked 53 times near Vovchenko, Stepanivka, Illinka, Berizka, Kreminna Balka, Novoselidivka, Novodmitrivka, Horoshne, Maksymilianivka, Antonivka, Yelizavetivka and Katerynivka. There are currently 26 firefights.

In the Vremivka sector, the occupying Russian forces attacked Ukrainian troops' positions five times near Kostiantynopolske and Trudove. Three firefights are still ongoing. At the same time, the enemy, supporting the offensive, actively used aviation, and launched 49 unguided missiles.

In the Huliaipole sector, the town of Bilohirya came under air strikes with unguided missiles.

In the Orikhiv sector, Russian invaders made one futile attempt to attack the positions of our defenders near Orikhiv. In addition, Russian enemy dropped 14 guided aerial bombs in the vicinity of Mala Tokmachka, Orikhiv and Novoandriivka.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Russian troops made two assaults, which Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled. The situation is under control.

At the same time, the enemy has dropped 21 guided aerial bombs on the Kursk region since the beginning of the day.

The situation in other frontline areas remains unchanged.

• On November 4, 230 combat engagements were registered between the two armies along the frontline. Most attacks took place in the Kurakhove sector.
