69 clashes occur at front, Russia actively deploys aviation in Toretsk sector - Ukraine's General Staff

This is stated in the report of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff as of 4:00 p.m. on July 15.

The border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions are under systematic fire from artillery and MLRS. A number of border settlements, such as Pokrovka, Popivka, Uhrody, Luhivka, and Novomykolaivka, have suffered from terrorist attacks. The Russian arme also conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities.

At the same time, the Kharkiv region is under constant Russian fire. The terrorists dropped 17 guided bombs today. They targeted the areas of Hlyboke, Lyptsi, Vesele, Veterynarne, and Vovchansk.

In addition, in the Kharkiv sector, Russian forces attempted ten times to storm the defensive lines of Ukrainian troops in the areas of Hlyboke and Vovchansk. Six combat engagements are currently taking place near Vovchansk. The situation is under control of Ukrainian troops.

In the Kupyansk sector, Russian enemy twice actively attacked the positions of Ukrainian troops near Stelmakhivka, and the fighting is still ongoing. Ukrainian soldiers continue to hold steadfastly the defence.

In the Lyman sector, the invading Russian army, supported by aviation, made three attacks on Ukrainian positions near Makiivka and Terny. Two engagements ended without success for the enemy, and one is still ongoing.

Russia is also active in the Siversk sector. Ukrainian defenders repelled two attacks near Razdolivka, Bilohorivka, and Verkhniokamianske, and four more attempts by the enemy were unsuccessful. The situation is under control.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russia made five assaults on the Ukrainian troops' positions near Chasiv Yar and Hryhorivka. Two attacks are still ongoing. The enemy attacked Chasiv Yar with attack aircraft.

The number of enemy attacks in the Toretsk sector increased to nine. The Russian army is concentrating its efforts in the areas of Pivnichne and New York. Ukrainian troops repelled four enemy attacks, five more combat engagements are ongoing.

Russian forces are actively using aviation in this area, in particular, the areas of the settlements of Pivnichne, Toretsk, and New York were bombed, the enemy dropped 12 guided bombs and used unguided aerial missiles.

The largest number of firefights took place in the Pokrovsk sector. Since the beginning of the day, Russian invaders, supported by bombers and attack aircraft, have made sixteen attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions in the areas of Progress, Novoselivka Persha, Novooleksandrivka, and Yasnobrodivka. The Ukrainain Defence Forces are holding back the attack and have repelled 13 enemy attacks so far, with three attacks still ongoing. The Russian losses are being clarified.

Fighting continues near Krasnohorivka, Karlivka, and Paraskoviivka in the Kurakhove sector. According to updated information, ten attacks by the occupying army have been repelled in the area so far today.

In the Vremivka sector, Ukrainian troops repelled four enemy attacks near Kostyantynivka, Vodiane, and Makarivka.

In the Orikhiv sector, Russian troops made two unsuccessful attempts to attack our units near Mala Tokmachka and in the direction of Novoandriivka.

In the Prydniprovsky sector, Russian continues to try to drive our units from their positions. Two unsuccessful attacks by enemy infantry were repelled by Ukrainian troops.

• Over the past day, 14 July, 114 combat engagements took place at the front. Russian troops attacked the most in the Pokrovsk and Toretske directions.
• On July 14, the Ukrainian Defence Forces managed to neutralize another 1,200 Russian servicemen and burn dozens of pieces of enemy equipment on the Russian-Ukrainian front.
