114 combat clashes occur at front, Russia focuses on Pokrovsk, Toretsk directions

Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff reported the information as of 8:00 a.m. on July 15.

According to the updated information, over the past day, Russia launched three missile attacks on Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas, using four missiles, 64 air strikes (a total of 97 missile launchers), used 1,168 kamikaze drones, and fired 4,758 times, 79 of which were from MLRS.

Russia launched air strikes at 22 settlements across Ukraine.

Yesterday, Ukrainian aviation, missile troops and artillery struck two Russian command posts, an ammunition depot, an air defense facility, three artillery systems, an electronic warfare station and six troop concentrations.

Frontline update

A total of ten combat clashes took place in the Kharkiv direction. Fighting took place near Vovchansk and Hlyboke. Russian forces actively used aviation to support them.

In the Kupyansk direction, the number of attacks stopped at three yesterday. Ukrainian defense forces repelled the Russian assault near Pishchane, Kharkiv region, and Stelmakhivka, Luhansk region.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian troops repulsed nine Russian attacks near Hrekivka and Makiivka in Luhansk region.

In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces rebuffed 11 assaults near Spirne, Bilohorivka, Rozdolivka and Vyimka in the Donetsk region.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian Armed Forces stopped six Russsian troops' attempts to break through the defense in near Hryhorivka, Ivanivske, Andriivka and Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region.

The Russian forces launched 20 attacks in the Toretsk direction. They concentrated their efforts towards New York, Pivnichne and Zalizne and supported their actions with bombing attacks.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders fought off 41 assault attacks near Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Prohres, Novoselivka Persha and Yasnobrodivka in the Donetsk region. Russian troops, supported by air power, tried to force Ukrainian units out of their positions.

In the Kurakhove direction, Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding back Russian troops near Krasnohorivka, Paraskoviivka, Karlivka and Kostiantynivka. Russian forces tried to capture Ukrainian fortifications eight times.

In the Vremivka direction, Russia made two unsuccessful assaults near Vodiane and Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region. They launched three MLRS attacks near Velyka Novosilka.

In the Orikhiv and Huliaipole directions, the occupying Russian army did not conduct any active offensives yesterday.

In the Kherson direction, Ukrainian troops beat back two Russian attacks near Krynky.

The operational situation on the northern border remained unchanged. No signs of the formation of Russian offensive groups were detected.

On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, Russian troops are conducting sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shelling settlements from Russia's territory, and increasing the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine.
