Russia focuses military push on three key fronts — Ukraine's 65th Brigade

The deputy battalion commander of the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade stated this on Espreso TV.

"Since the start of summer, the Russian army has been actively launching assault operations along the entire line in the Zaporizhzhia region and across the front line. These are small groups of 3–4 soldiers who try to move closer to our positions almost every night and morning. In my sector, they were taken out before reaching us. But overall, the enemy has clearly stepped up attacks in the Zaporizhzhia direction," the serviceman said.

He added that the brigade remains in a constant state of high combat readiness. Units and UAV teams are positioned all along the front line.

"Right now, the most active fighting is in the Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions, especially near the border with theDnipropetrovsk region, and in the Sumy region itself. These are the key areas for Russian forces. Our command is currently focused on these directions," Forest noted.

• On June 30, 146 combat clashes took place between Russian and Ukrainian forces along the front. Russian troops are still trying to break through Defense Forces’ positions in 12 sectors.
