Forty-seven combat clashes occur at frontline, Pokrovsk direction remains most active - Ukraine's General Staff

This is according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces as of 10:00 a.m., June 20.

This morning, 47 combat clashes occurred at the front. Russian troops carried out 523 attacks on Ukrainian troops and settlements.

In the Kupyansk direction, 5 assaults are underway in Stepova Novoselevka, Pishchane, Stelmakhivka, and Terny. Three Russian attacks near Stelmakhivka have been repelled. The situation is under control.

In the Siversk direction, a battle is ongoing in Rozdolivka. Our soldiers have repelled four enemy advances near this settlement. Enemy losses are being assessed.

Since the start of the day, there have been six skirmishes in the Kramatorsk direction. Three attacks near Ivanivske and Andriivka were repelled. Fighting continues in Klishchiivka and Kalynivka. The Russian forces have not succeeded.

In the Toretsk direction, Russia is trying to dislodge Ukrainian defenders from positions near Shumy and New York. The battle continues.

The Pokrovsk direction remains particularly active. Since the start of the day, there have been 12 attempts to break through our defenses in Oleksandropol, Novooleksandrivka, Sokil, Novoselivka Persha, and Tonenke. Ten of these are ongoing. The situation is tense, with the Ukrainian Defense Forces taking measures to exhaust the occupiers' offensive potential. Yesterday's activity in this direction resulted in 245 Russian casualties and the destruction of one IFV, an artillery system, and a vehicle. Two Russian armored fighting vehicles, four guns, and two vehicles were damaged.

In the Kurakhove direction, seven attacks by Russian forces continue in Heorhiivka, Pobyeda, Kostyantynivka, and Paraskoviivka. The Ukrainian Defense Forces control the situation.

In the Vremivka direction, Russia is advancing from Vodyane. Ukrainian units are restraining them with fire.

Russian troops are not conducting active offensive actions in other areas.

In the past 24 hours, 158 combat clashes occurred at the front

Russia launched three missile strikes, 53 air strikes, and dropped 76 guided aerial bombs on Ukrainian positions and populated areas. They also launched over 4,000 attacks, with 89 from MLRS.

Ukrainian Defense Forces target 12 Russian positions

Ukrainian aviation, missile units, and artillery hit 12 Russian personnel concentrations, four artillery systems, three anti-aircraft systems, an electronic warfare station, a radar station, and another important object.
