42 combat clashes occur at front since morning, most intense in Pokrovsk direction

As of June 4, 42 combat clashes have erupted at the front. Defense Forces are repelling enemy assaults in multiple directions

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the summary was released at 1:00 p.m.

Russian attacks on Ukraine 

On June 3, Russian troops launched three rocket strikes, deploying eight missiles, carried out 62 airstrikes with 56 guided bombs, and conducted over 2,200 attacks using various weapons, including 128 MLRS attacks.

During the night of June 4, 2024, the Russian army targeted the Dnipropetrovsk region with two Iskander-K cruise missiles fired from occupied Crimea. Both missiles were intercepted and shot down by Ukraine's Air Force. Debris from the Russian missile attack caused damage to civilian infrastructure.

Around midnight, the Russians deployed four unmanned aerial vehicles in the northern direction. Defense Forces mobile fire units destroyed two in the Chernihiv region, and the remaining two were also neutralized.

Frontline situation 

Since the start of today, there have been 42 combat clashes.

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy hit the settlement of Vilcha with two guided bombs early in the day. Ukrainian forces are reinforcing positions and defensive lines. Updated data shows the enemy lost 174 soldiers in this area on June 3. Additionally, Ukrainian forces destroyed one armored vehicle, 12 cars, and two units of special equipment. Seven artillery systems, eight vehicles, and two units of special equipment were damaged.

On June 4, Ukrainian troops have repelled three attacks near Synkivka and Yampil in the Kupyansk direction. The clashes continue near Stepova Novoselivka and Stelmakhivka. The situation remains under control, with no positions lost. On June 3, the enemy's total losses amounted to 125 personnel, one tank, two cars, and a ground drone destroyed. Two artillery systems and one anti-aircraft missile system were damaged.

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces are trying to approach Ukrainian positions near Yampil, but Defense Forces of Ukraine control the situation.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the invaders have made three unsuccessful attempts to attack near Klishchiivka and Kalynivka since the start of the day. Another battle persists in the Andriivka area, with Ukrainian units maintaining control.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders are actively preventing enemy advances. Combat operations have increased to 25 since the beginning of the day, with fighting reported near Novooleksandrivka, Yevhenivka, Prohres, Kalynove, and Novopokrovsk. Ukrainian army have repelled 11 attacks, with 14 ongoing.The situation remains tense but under control. The enemy suffered losses of 116 personnel, two armored vehicles, two electronic warfare devices, and two vehicles in this direction over the past day.

In the Kurakhove direction, defense forces repelled one assault near Krasnohorivka, with another battle ongoing.

In the Vremivka direction, the Ruassians launched three unsuccessful attacks today near Staromayorske, Kostyantynivka, and Zolota Nyva. No positions were lost.

In the Kherson direction, near the left bank of the Dnipro River, Russians attempted to suppress Ukrainian units near the village of Krynky twice. However, both attacks were repelled, and the situation remains under control.

In the Orikhiv direction, Russian troops tried to push our units in the Robotyne area but failed and withdrew.

Ukrainian strikes on Russian forces 

On June 3, the Air Force, missile forces, and artillery of Ukraine's Defense Forces struck five enemy troop concentration areas, four anti-aircraft vehicles, one artillery vehicle, and two ammunition depots.

  • In the last 24 hours, the Defense Forces eliminated 1,290 Russian invaders and destroyed dozens of enemy equipment units on the Russian-Ukrainian front.
