326 children remain in active combat zones in Donetsk region
There are still 326 children living in areas of active combat in the Donetsk region
Dmytro Petlin, head of the department for operational duty, communication, notification, and informing the public at the Donetsk Regional Military Administration shared the information, as reported by Ukrinform.
“Regarding the populated areas in the zone of active combat, which includes 19 communities, around 54,000 civilians are remaining, including 326 children,” Petlin said.
The communities that are in the zones of active combat include: Pokrovsk, Chasiv Yar, Toretsk, Bakhmut, Soledar, Zvanivka, Siversk, Illinka, Kostiantynivka, Lyman, Hrodivka, Kurakhove, Mariinka, Myrnohrad, Novohradivka, Ocheretyne, Selydove, Vuhledar, and Novoselivka.
Dmytro Petlin emphasized that evacuation efforts in the Donetsk region continue. He urged residents of the region to “choose a safe place and leave the dangerous areas as soon as possible.”
- As of November 20, 442 children were remaining in the active combat zone in the Donetsk region.
