300 Russian soldiers managed to infiltrate Pokrovsk. They are using weather conditions and have intensified efforts in recent days to enter the city with light vehicles
The 7th Quick Reaction Corps of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces reported the information.
"Over the past few days, the Russians have intensified efforts to penetrate Pokrovsk with light vehicles through the southern outskirts. For this, the enemy used unfavorable weather conditions, particularly dense fog. This reduces the capabilities of our aerial reconnaissance and engagement in open terrain," the military stated.
According to the Air Assault Forces: there are currently 300 Russian servicemen in Pokrovsk. Their goal is to reach the northern borders of the city and try to encircle the agglomeration.
"At the same time, the Defense Forces continue to detect and destroy enemy groups in urban areas even in conditions of low visibility. Since the beginning of November, the Defense Forces have eliminated 162 Russian soldiers in Pokrovsk, and another 39 have been wounded. Various units of the Defense Forces continue to be involved in clearing the city – UAVs, assault and air assault units, Special Operation Forces, SBU, National Guard, National Police, and others," the material summarizes.
