Ukraine's 24th Brigade showcases IFV in action near Chasiv Yar
Troops from Ukraine's King Danylo 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade demonstrated the combat capabilities of their infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) as it took out enemy targets near Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region
This was reported on the brigade's official page.
"In modern warfare, where the focus is on drones and other asymmetric tactics, armored vehicles remain crucial. The crew fires the first few shots, and then a voice is heard, 'We're hitting the target, let's finish the job.' The vehicle expends its ammo and swiftly exits the firing position. Survival here hinges on the crew's skill and coordination. The infantry fighting vehicle, though old, is a powerful weapon. It may be a tool of the 20th century, but in capable hands, any machine becomes a deadly weapon," the message reads.
According to the soldiers, almost all equipment today becomes a high-priority target as soon as it appears in the Russian line of sight.
"Our mechanics push the armor to its limits to keep effectively eliminating Russian occupiers," the brigade added.
