According to Sky News, Callum Tindal-Draper, from Gunnislake in Cornwall, died on November 5 while defending an observation post.
Callum's mother Caroline Tindal said in a post on Facebook that "he fought till he could no longer hold them off anymore."
"His platoon are calling him a 'hero' and 'as brave as they come,'" she said.
Callum had studied at Duchy College, in Stoke Climsland, Cornwall, and worked for the British National Health Service (NHS) before volunteering to fight in Ukraine. At the start of Russia's invasion, he and fellow students gathered minibusses of humanitarian aid for Ukraine’s civilian population.
