Ukraine's General Staff reports 21 firefights in Pokrovsk sector

Over the last day, 141 firefights took place at the front. The Pokrovsk sector remains the hottest spot in the frontline

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported as of 11:00 a.m.

Since the beginning of the day, 53 combat clashes have already taken place. The invading troops carried out nine air strikes using nineteen combat aircraft, fired more than 600 times at the positions of Ukrainian troops and localities. 

In the Kupyansk direction, eight Russian attacks have already taken place since the beginning of the day in the area of 3 settlements. Six Russia's attempts to advance were repelled by Ukrainian defenders, two assault operations are ongoing. The situation is under control. 

Moderate activity of the Russian occupation forces is observed in the Siversk direction. So far, the Russian army tried 13 times to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions near Verkhnekamianske, Spirne and Rozdolivka. Seven Russian attacks were rebuffed, and the fighting continues. 

In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupation forces keep trying to advance towards Chasiv Yar, near which a battle is ongoing. Ukrainian defenders are holding the line in this area and are repelling the Russian aggressor.  

The Ukrainian Defense Forces units hold back Russia's units in the Horlivka-Toretsk area. The battle continues.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders are taking measures to prevent the advance of Russian troops deep into their territory. As of today, 21 combat clashes have already taken place at the front. The Russian enemy continues to put pressure on the Ukrainian positions near 6 localities of the region. Nine attacks have been repelled, and fighting continues. The situation is under Ukrainian Defense Forces’ control.

In the Kurakhove direction, three Russian assaults near Heorhiivka and Paraskoviivka failed.

According to updated information, Russian troops' losses in this sector over the past day amounted to over 180 people killed and wounded, two tanks, two artillery systems and a vehicle destroyed.  

In the Vremivka direction, Russia's attack near Staromayorske failed, and another battle is ongoing near Vodiane.

In the Orikhiv direction, the invading forces' assault near Robotyne failed. Two more firefights continue near Mala Tokmachka and Kamianske. 

In other areas, the situation did not change significantly. 

Russia launched 4 missile and 62 air strikes on the territory of Ukraine

According to updated information, over the past day, Russia launched a total of four missile attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas, using six missiles, 62 air strikes (including 91 combat aircraft), carried out more than 3,600 attacks, including 112 from multiple launch rocket systems, and launched 1,150 kamikaze drones. 

Ukraine's Defense Forces hit four Russian concentration areas

The Air Force, missile forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit four places of Russian personnel concentration, as well as four areas of weapons and military equipment concentration, three command posts and one artillery vehicle.

Over the past day, the total losses of the Russian Federation amounted to 1110 people. They also lost eight tanks, 11 armored combat vehicles, 28 artillery systems, 15 UAVs, four missiles, 23 vehicles and two units of special equipment.

  • Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders eliminated at least 1,110 Russian soldiers. In addition, the Russian army lost dozens of units of its equipment.
