172 combat clashes on Russian-Ukrainian frontline: Russia fires 4,420 times at Ukrainian positions and civilian areas

Yesterday, 172 combat clashes were registered along the entire frontline. The most tense areas remain Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions.

Yesterday, Russia launched a total of four missile attacks, 72 air strikes and 1,508 kamikaze drone attacks against Ukrainian troops' positions and settlements, firing 4,420 times at Ukrainian positions and civilian areas, 117 of them from MLRS. About 20 settlements were subjected to Russian air strikes.

At the same time, Ukraine's aviation and missile forces and artillery struck three air defense facilities and six areas of Russian personnel and equipment concentrations, a fuel and lubricants base, and destroyed an Osa missile system.

Frontline update

In the Kharkiv direction, Russia continued active operations, with a total of six combat clashes. The fighting took place near Starytsia and Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops attacked the Ukrainian units' positions 25 times, making their main efforts in the areas of 5 settlements.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 20 attacks near 5 settlements and in the Serebryanka forest.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukraine stopped four Russian attempts to break through its defenses near Chasiv Yar and Stupochky, Donetsk region.

In the Toretsk direction, Russian troops, with the support of aviation, carried out 12 attacks near the settlements of Toretsk, Dyliivka and Nelipivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repulsed 26 assaults. Russian troops concentrated their efforts near Lysivka and Selydove, with more than half of the attacks taking place there. In addition, their attempts to advance were stopped near 5 settlements of the Donetsk region.

In the Kurakhove direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding back the Russian army near 7 populated areas, where the Russian army tried to break through the Ukrainian defense 37 times.

In the Vremivka direction, Russian troops launched three assaults on Ukrainian positions in the direction of Bohoyavlenka, Donetsk region.

Two unsuccessful attempts to attack Ukrainian units were repelled by the Ukrainian defenders in the Orikhiv direction near Robotyne.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Ukrainian fighters rigidly stopped seven Russian attempts to advance to the positions held by Ukrainian troops.

There were no significant changes in the Huliaipole and Siversk directions. The Russian army is constantly shelling civilian infrastructure and Ukrainian troops' positions, and is using air power.

The situation on the border with Belarus remained unchanged. No signs of the formation of Russian offensive groups have been detected.

On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, Russian forces maintain a military presence, shell settlements from the territory of Russia, and conduct sabotage and reconnaissance activities.

Operation in the Kursk region

The Ukrainian defense forces continue their operation in the Kursk region. According to available data, Russian troops have launched 17 air strikes using 24 KABs in the Kursk region.

  • The soldiers of the Third Separate Assault Brigade recaptured Russian positions in the Kharkiv region and liberated Ukrainian servicemen from captivity.
