165 clashes occur on Russian-Ukrainian front on Dec. 1: Russia attacks in 10 directions

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff stated this in its report as of 08:00 a.m.

According to the updated information, yesterday Russia launched 18 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, in particular, dropped 25 guided bombs. In addition, the Russians used nearly 1,635 ‘kamikaze’ drones and fired over 5,079 times, including 145 times from multiple launch rocket systems.

The Russian army conducted airstrikes, including in the areas of Siversk, Petrivka, Kostiantynivka, Panteleimonivka, Yelyzavetivka, Hrodivka, Dachenske, Shevchenko, Novopustynka, and Ulakly.

Yesterday the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted three strikes on the Russian manpower and weapons concentration areas.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv sector, Russian forces launched ten attacks near Starytsia, Tykhe, Vovchansk, and towards Kozacha Lopan.

In the Kupyansk sector, the Russian army attacked nine times. The Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled Russian offensive near Lozova, Kruhlyakivka, Hlushkivka, and Zelenyi Hai.

In the Lyman sector, Russia attacked eight times, attempting to advance near Druzhelyubivka, Hrekivka, Hryhorivka, Terny, and Torske.

In the Kramatorsk sector, three clashes were recorded near Chasiv Yar.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian troops attacked eight times near Toretsk and towards Shcherbynivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 33 Russian attacks near Myrolyubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Zhovte, and Chumatske.

In the Kurakhove sector, the Ukrainian defense forces repelled 48 attacks near Berestky, Sontsivka, Zorya, Novodmytrivka, Kurakhove, Dalne, Yelyzavetivka, and Hannivka.

In the Vremivka sector, Russians launched 24 attacks on Ukrainian positions near Kostiantynopil, Trudove, Velyka Novosilka, Novosilka, Novyi Komar, and Novodaryvka.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, the invading Russian forces unsuccessfully attacked Ukrainian positions four times.

In the Kursk region, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 16 Russian attacks over the past day.

On the border with Belarus, no signs of Russian offensive groups were detected.

On the border with the Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the Russian army is actively using artillery and aviation from its territory near Ukrainian settlements.

• The occupying Russian army lost at least 1,790 personnel over the day of the war, along with several pieces of equipment and weaponry.
