151 skirmishes at frontline yesterday, Ukraine's Defense Forces repel most Russian attacks near Pokrovsk

According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces as of 08:00 on July 7:

Russia launched two missile strikes, 58 airstrikes (involving 76 guided bombs), fired about 4,000 shots, including 138 from MLRS, and used 1041 kamikaze drones on Ukraine's positions and populated areas.

Russia also carried out airstrikes on 28 settlements across Ukraine.

Frontline update

In the Kharkiv direction, Russian troops continued offensive and assault actions supported by aviation, with 11 combat clashes occurring near Vovchansk, Hlyboke, and Lyptsi.

In the Kupyansk direction, clashes increased to seven. Ukrainia Defense Forces repelled Russian attacks in Synkivka, Petropavlivka, and Stelmakhivka in the Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian troops faced 20 attacks near Hrekivka, Makiivka, and Nevske in the Luhansk region, and Terny and Torske in the Donetsk region.

In the Siversk direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled five attacks in the Spirne and Viymka districts of the Donetsk region.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 11 Russian attempts to break through in Klishchiivka, Kalynivka, Ivanivske, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Toretsk direction, Russian forces were active, committing 16 attacks near Toretsk, Sievierne, Zalizne, and New York settlements in the Donetsk region, supported by airstrikes.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 49 attacks near Yuriivka, Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Kalynove, Lozuvatske, Prohres, Novoselivka Persha, Yevhenivka, Yasnobrodivka, and Karlivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Kurakhove direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces held back Russian troops in Krasnohorivka, Paraskoviivka, and Kostyantynivka, where Russia tried to break through 19 times.

In the Vremivka direction, Russian forces carried out four attacks on Ukrainian positions in the Vodyane district of the Donetsk region.

Four combat clashes occurred in the Orikhiv direction, with Russian forces repulsed near Robotyne and Novodanylivka.

In the Kherson direction, Russian troops are trying to dislodge units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces from their positions on the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro River, carrying out five unsuccessful attacks.

On the border with Belarus, the operational situation hasn't changed significantly, with no signs of enemy offensive groups forming.

On the border of the Chernihiv and Sumy regions, Russia maintains a military presence, conducts sabotage and intelligence activities, and fires at populated areas from Russian territory.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian soldiers continue to inflict losses on Russian manpower and equipment, exhausting their offensive potential along the battle line and in the rear.

In the past day, Ukraine's aviation, missile troops, and artillery hit two artillery systems, the Buk anti-aircraft missile complex, the UAV control center, and 22 personnel and equipment concentrations.

• Yesterday, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated 1,150 Russian soldiers and destroyed dozens more units of equipment at the front.
