139 combat clashes at Russian-Ukrainian front: General Staff highlights most active sectors

Over the past day, 139 combat clashes were reported along the Russian-Ukrainian front. Russian forces are concentrating their efforts in the Pokrovsk direction

This was stated in Ukraine's General Staff’s report.

According to the report, yesterday, Russia launched 5 missile strikes targeting Ukrainian positions and civilian areas using 7 missiles and carried out 88 airstrikes, deploying 96 guided bombs. Additionally, there were 4,679 attacks, 109 of them involving MLRS systems.

Russian airstrikes targeted 17 settlements across Ukraine.

Yesterday, Ukrainian aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck 18 areas of Russian personnel concentration and anti-air defenses, hitting nine artillery systems and two other key targets.

Frontline update

In the Kharkiv direction, six clashes occurred near Vovchansk and Lyptsi.

Ten Russian assaults were launched in the Kupiansk direction. Ukrainian forces successfully repelled attacks near Berestove and Stelmakhivka.

Russian troops carried out 24 attacks in the Lyman direction, attempting advances near Makiivka, Nevske, Hrekivka, Novoyehorivka, and Dibrova.

In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian defenders held off nine Russian assaults near Spirne, Vyimka, and Pereizne.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces launched 12 attacks near Chasiv Yar and Ivanivske. The situation remains under control.

In the Toretsk direction, with air support, Russian forces executed 19 attacks near Pivnichne, Toretsk, and Zalizne.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 46 assault and offensive operations aimed at Vozdvyzhenka, Myrolyubivka, Novotroitske, Novohrodivka, Hrodivka, Mykolaivka, Zhelanne, and Zavitne. The most concentrated Russian attacks occurred near Hrodivka, Mykolaivka, and Novozhelanne, with heavy use of assault and bombing aircraft.

In the Kurakhove direction, Ukrainian forces pushed back eight attacks targeting Krasnohorivka.

In the Vremivka direction, Russian troops launched three attacks near Vuhledar.

In the Kherson direction, two Russian attempts to seize Ukrainian positions were thwarted.

No indications of Russian offensive group formations were observed along the Belarus border.

On the border with the Sumy region, Russian forces utilized aviation for strikes on Ukrainian settlements from Russia.

Ukrainian forces are inflicting significant losses on Russian manpower and equipment.

  • Yesterday, on the Ukrainian front, the Russian army lost several units of equipment and 1,170 soldiers.
