128 combat clashes occur at frontline, one third in Pokrovsk sector - Ukraine's General Staff
As of 19:00 on June 24, the total number of attacks by Russian forces on the frontline reached 128 for the day. One third of these attacks occurred in the Pokrovsk sector
Ukraine’s General Staff reported the information.
In the Kupyansk direction, the Russian forces are currently attacking near Novoselivka. This marks the fifth attempt to advance their positions in this sector, with the previous four attempts successfully repelled.
Seven out of 23 combat clashes have occurred in the Lyman sector since the beginning of the day. The Russian army is active in areas including Hrekivka, Kopanky, Makiivka, Nevske, Torske, Serebryansky Forest, and Synkivka.
Preliminary reports indicate that Russians lost 92 personnel in this sector today, with one armored personnel carrier and one self-propelled artillery system destroyed. Additionally, a vehicle, cannon, and mortar were damaged.
In the Siversk sector, ongoing combat clashes are reported in the areas of Rozdolivka and Verkhnekamianske, with a total of 21 Russian attacks recorded today.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian forces are attempting to advance in Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, and Kalynivka. There were nine Russian attacks here over the past day.
In the Toretsk sector, eight combat engagements occurred in the last day, with two still ongoing. Attacks persist near Pivdenne and New York.
The Pokrovsk sector saw 38 combat engagements of varying intensity today, with 11 ongoing in areas like Sokil, Novooleksandrivka, Yevhenivka, and Vozdvyzhenka. Additionally, Russia launched a missile attack near the town of Pokrovsk.
Elsewhere, the situation remains relatively unchanged.
Ukrainian defense forces continue to repel Russian advances and inflict significant losses across the entire front line.
