125 clashes erupt along Russian-Ukrainian frontline: fiercest fighting in Pokrovsk sector

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff stated this in its report as of 08:00 a.m.

A total of 125 combat clashes were recorded over the last day.

According to the updated information, yesterday, Russian forces launched two missile strikes and 74 air strikes against Ukraine, using four missiles and dropping 154 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they used 2,764 ‘kamikaze’ drones and fired 6,659 times on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, including 104 times from multiple launch rocket systems.

21 settlements were hit by Russian airstrikes. In addition, they launched an air strike with guided bombs on the city of Kherson.

Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck 19 Russian manpower and weapons concentrations, three command posts, one air defense system, three artillery systems, one ammunition depot, and one electronic warfare station.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv sector, Russian forces launched two assaults on Ukrainian positions near Vovchansk and Zapadne.

In the Kupiansk sector, five Russian attacks were recorded over the day. Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled assaults near Nova Kruhliakivka, Bohuslavka, Zahryzove, and toward Petropavlivka.

In the Lyman sector, Russian troops launched 16 attacks, attempting to advance near Nadiia, Novoserhiivka, Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Nove, and toward Olhivka and Zelena Dolyna.

In the Siversk sector, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions nine times near Hryhorivka, Ivano-Dariivka, Vyiimka, and Verkhniokamianske.

In the Kramatorsk sector, five combat clashes occurred near Chasiv Yar, Kurdiumivka, and Stupochky.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian troops launched 13 attacks near Toretsk and Leonidivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 29 Russian assaults near Oleksandropil, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Zvirove, Uspenivka, Novooleksandrivka, Preobrazhenka, Troitske, Andriivka, Bohdanivka, Stara Mykolaivka, and toward Serhiivka.

In the Novopavlivka sector, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions 15 times near Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv, Pryvilne, and toward Bahatyr.

In the Huliaipole sector, no combat clashes were recorded over the past day.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian forces repelled six Russian attacks near Lobkove, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Stepove, and close to Kamianske, Shcherbaky, and Mali Shcherbaky.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Russian troops launched three offensive attempts — all unsuccessful.

In the Kursk region, 14 combat clashes occurred. Russian troops launched 23 airstrikes, dropped 37 guided bombs, and conducted 413 artillery strikes, including 17 from multiple launch rocket systems.

On the border with Belarus, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.

  • Ukraine's Defense Forces eliminated 1,050 Russian soldiers and a number of equipment and weapons units on the Russian-Ukrainian front yesterday.
