Russia trying to imitate build-up of its military forces in Zaporizhzhia region – National Resistance Center

The information was received from the centers of the resistance movement in the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region.

Russia carries out complex measures. These are demonstrative actions involving weapons and military equipment, as well as a significant increase in the activity of Russian forces in the media space of the temporarily occupied territories.

At the same time, the media in Zaporizhzhia region continue to spread narratives about "the successful completion of the next stage of combat coordination of mobilized servicemen and the further formation of new or additional units of the Russian Armed Forces." These units will be used in the future to conduct offensive operations in the southern direction.

"At the same time, the message is being actively spread that the counteroffensive operation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Zaporizhzhia direction will be a fatal step on the part of the top military and political leadership of Ukraine," the statement said.
