This was announced by the commander of the Ukrainian Army, Oleksandr Syrskyi.
"The enemy suffered significant losses in the Yahidne-Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi area, stopped active operations and is currently regrouping," he wrote.
According to him, the 6th Combined Arms and 1st Tank Armies of the Russian Federation continue to conduct offensive operations in Kupyansky Forest, Pershotravneve and Orlyanske. They are stepping up their efforts to seize the dominant heights, capture Synkivka and create favorable conditions for the capture of Kupyansk.
Syrskyi noted that over the past week, Russian occupiers' losses in the Kupyansk sector reached 583 personnel, including 220 killed, 358 wounded, and 5 Russian servicemen captured.
- On 3 November, Russian terrorists unsuccessfully attacked Ukrainian positions in the Kupyansk, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka and Zaporizhzhia directions.
